RNR is an independent travel partner for teams and families attending. We are not the organiser, and not an official WRO or India STEM Foundation partner. Registration, the official accommodation package and visa invitation letters are handled by the organisers — we arrange the travel around them.

What's on
RoboMission
Ages 8–19
An autonomous robot solves timed missions on a standard field. Judged on performance, accuracy and rule compliance. Runs in Elementary (8–12), Junior (11–15) and Senior (14–19).
RoboSports — Double Tennis
Ages 11–19
Two autonomous robots per team play a tennis-inspired match against another team, tracking the ball and coordinating in real time.
Future Innovators
Teams research a real-world problem tied to the season theme, prototype a robotic solution and present it at a project booth. Judged on innovation, the robot itself, and presentation.
Future Engineers
Ages 14–22
A self-driving vehicle navigates a changing track — open and obstacle challenges, with randomised elements. Engineering documentation and source code must be published publicly.
Registration is handled exclusively by your WRO National Organizer, and teams must clear their National Round first — there is no other route in, and RNR cannot register you. Fees vary by country and are non-refundable once confirmed. Passports must be valid for at least six months from arrival, and delegates need return tickets.

The World Robot Olympiad Open Championship for Asia & Pacific, hosted by the India STEM Foundation at GMR Arena, Aerocity, Hyderabad — 180+ teams from 35+ nations competing across 4 categories for 20+ awards, under the 2026 season theme “Robots Meet Culture”. Three days: build and practice on 25 September, competition and Friendship Night on the 26th, final rounds and awards on the 27th. The venue sits inside GMR Aerocity, directly adjacent to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. Categories run RoboMission (ages 8–19), RoboSports Double Tennis (11–19), Future Innovators and Future Engineers (14–22).

Read this before you book anything. The organisers' registration fee already includes 3 nights' hotel accommodation in shared rooms, 3 lunches and 2 dinners, the Friendship Night, and airport–hotel–venue transfers. They also issue visa invitation letters and coordinate with Indian missions. We don't resell any of that. What we quote is what sits outside it: international flights, extra nights either side of the official 3, private or upgraded rooms, travel for accompanying parents and family, and tours around Hyderabad. Registration itself runs 15 July – 15 August 2026 and goes through your WRO National Organiser — teams must clear their National Round first, and we cannot register you.
